Frances M. Brown

Frances M. Brown, 84, former Shelbyville resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. Born April 15, 1926, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Curtis L. and Elsie M. (Kepple) Turner. She married Robert Brown on Aug. 8, 1943, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 1980. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Hudnall of Laurel; sisters, Wilma Wilcox of Indianapolis and Judy Heck of Shelbyville; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-stepgrandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Robert Brown and Gary Brown. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
