Earl Barngrover, 77, of Shelbyville died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his residence. Born July 9, 1934, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Emerson and Edith Barngrover. He married Sharon Aulby on Dec. 31, 1953, and she survives. Other survivors include sons, Michael (Charlotte) Barngrover, Robbie (Debbie) Barngrover, Gary Barngrover and Ronnie Barngrover, all of Shelbyville, and Daryel (Kim) Barngrover of Brown County; brother, Daryel Cutsinger of Florida; sisters, Betty Sue Wisman of Florida and Darlene Redman of Greenfield;16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Garrett Barngrover and Gilbert Gunning; and a grandson, Michael Barngrover. Mr. Barngrover had been a factory worker employed by KT Corp. for 22 years, then worked for Cinch Manufacturing for 24 years until his retirement. His leisure activities were fishing and hunting. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Caplinger officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. An online guest book may be signed at www.murphyparks.com .
