Donnie Louise Marsden

Donnie Louise Marsden, 77, of Greensburg, IN. passed away April 21, 2023 at Major Health Partners.

She was born on July 15, 1945 to George and Claudine Bruce in Joplin, MO.

Donnie was married to James Marsden and he preceded her in death in 1981.  They had 2 sons, Michael and Steven.  In her later years she married Al Childers and he preceded her in death in 2022.

Donnie was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making outfits for vintage dolls.  She had been a cosmetologist, a scopist, and had also served as an assistant to the Decatur County Commissioners, for a period of time.  She also had various other jobs over the years.

Donnie is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife Kerri, Steven and his wife Christina, former daughter-in-law Michelle (Marsden) Rapp, three grandsons, a great-granddaughter her sister, Marilynn, and brothers, Carl, Marvin Wayne, and Ben.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Jim, second husband, Al, and her brothers, Lloyd, Olin, and Jack.
