Donna Sue Burton

Donna Sue Burton, 71, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at her residence.

She was born July 27, 1943, to Francis E. Redd Sr. and Laural (Ballard) Redd in Shelbyville. She married Kenneth G. Burton, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Jones and Rhonda Childers, both of Shelbyville; sons, Richard Stafford of Kansas, Larry Carter of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Billy Carter of Shelbyville; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ruth Elliott of Shelbyville, Jimmy Redd of St. Paul, Terry Redd of Shelbyville and Francis Redd Jr. of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three grandchildren and her daughter, Candy Carter.

She worked at Overhead Door for 20 years.

Mrs. Burton enjoyed cooking, camping and flower gardening. She was a collector of Native American memorabilia.

Private family services will be conducted.
