Dominique L Davis

Dominique L. Davis, Sr., 44, of Indianapolis, passed away December 24, 2022 at Community East Hospital.

He was born June 1, 1978 in Indianapolis, IN. to Wendell D. Davis and Janet M. Megerle.

He graduated from Lawrence Central High School.

Dominique loved music, animals, snakes, and dogs. He was a big kid at heart and a jack of all trades. Dominique he had a soulful spirit and infectious handsome smile. He loved to have get togethers with family, friends and listen to good music.  He was a grill master and made the best steaks and grilled cabbage.  He remained close with the family he grew up with and held them close to his heart till this day.  Thank you to all who loved and supported him during this challenging time.

He is survived by his sons, Dominique L Davis, Jr., Dominique R Davis, Dominique I.L. Taylor; daughters, Destiny L Davis, Dessiray L Jones; bonus children, Abrielle A. Taylor, Tylasia A. Taylor, Amara N. Taylor, Djamila N Taylor; sisters, Cossandra Megerle, Tonya Williams, Tamika Davis (husband, Tyron) Hughes; many nieces and nephews; his companion Luketria M. Taylor, and special best friend, Monica Gooch. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 4, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to Noon  at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Elder E.J. Hayes officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.
