Devi Lafae Welch

Devi LaFae Welch "Debra", 67, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her residence.

She was born June 1, 1956 in Fairmount IN. to Billy G. Welch and Doris F. (Howell) Welch.

Devi was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Devi was very creative and had an amazing artistic ability.  She loved horror movies and enjoyed

critiquing them.  Fall time and Halloween were her favorite times of the year where she could embrace her passion for Goth.

Devi is survived by her daughter, Hope (husband, Dean) Fraser; her companion, John Thompson; her grandchildren, Dylan Smith and Andrew Spurling; her brothers, Barry Welch and Donald Welch; and her beloved cat, Udo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Heather Rennekamp.
