Derek James Kent

Derek Kent, 26, of Morristown, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at his residence.

He was born December 18, 1993, in Montgomery, AL to Steven Kent and Danielle (Dodd) Kent.

Derek is survived by his mother, his sister, Nicole Giambrone, his brothers, Clayton Kent and Justin Kent, and his fiancé, Amanda Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his father, his grandfather, Donn Kent 'Pop Pop" and best friends, "fam 4 life"  Chris and Mikey.

Derek enjoyed making other people laugh and loved seeing people smile.  He lived life to the extreme and he had recently been building a relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

His favorite pastimes were being outside, listening to music and watching movies, and most importantly spending time with loved ones and great friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Derek Kent funeral fund in care of the funeral home.
