Denny Petitt, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at MHP.

He was born August 30, 1958 in Shelbyville, IN. to Thad Petitt Jr. and Patsy (Maude) Grisby.

Denny had a passion for riding dirt bikes and being with his family.  He was a great father and grandfather and was a teacher to his grandsons.  He loved his dogs dearly.

He married Sadie (Bush) Petitt and she preceded him in death.

Denny is survived by his daughters, Amanda (spouse, Johnny) Neace, Mary Merrick, Sarah (husband, Steven) Adams; brothers, Dana (wife, Brenda) Petitt, Duffy (wife, Jennifer) Petitt; sister, Debra Priddy; grandfather to 7 grandchildren; great-grandfather to a baby on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Robbie Petitt; 2 brothers, Damon and Darrell Petitt.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sugar Creek Lodge #279, 4801 N 450 W, Fairland, IN. 46126.
