David L Pittman

David L. Pittman, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Georgetown Community Hospital, KY.

He was born January 13, 1944 in Shelbyville, the son of Helen Fischer.

David retired from Continental Kitchen. His passion was fishing.  He also enjoyed making Native American jewelry.

He married Virginia (Biery) Pittman on September 30, 1967 and she preceded him in death on August 29, 2003.

David is survived by his daughter, Theresa Mozingo, of Shelbyville; son, David (Lisa) Pittman, of KY., son, Robert (MaryAnn) Pittman, of Ky., daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Lee, of N.C., son, Tony (Angel) Pittman, of Shelbyville, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his brother, Jerry Fischer, and son-in-law, Gary Mozingo.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend George Mitchell officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve David's family.
