Darrin Allen Glessner

Darrin Allen Glessner, 54, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday December 23, at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center.

He was born March 20, 1968 in Shelbyville to Jerry and Leona (Feuerstine) Glessner.

Darrin graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1986.

He served in the Army.

He was the owner of D&M Pool and Spa and a mechanic.

Darrin was an avid car lover (Poor Boy Car Club), singing karaoke, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Darrin and Michelle are owners of D&M Pool and Spa Supplies that will remain open.

He married Michelle (Early) Glessner on June 20, 1986 and she survives.

Darrin is survived by his parents, brother Jeff (wife, Angela) Glessner; sister Angie (husband, Tyler) Smith, all of Shelbyville, daughter Jessica Kessler, of Shelbyville, daughter Amber (husband, Braxton) Newton, of  Rushville, brother-in-law Chuck (wife, Raechell) Early, of Shelbyville, mother-in-law, Karen Early, of Shelbyville, grandchildren, Jemma Kessler, and Jaxon Newton, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Ruth and Alfred Feuerstine, Ronald Glessner and Patricia Vollet.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday March 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion 1125 Miller Ave. Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Darrin's family.
