Darlene Kay (Doolin) Baucom

Darlene Kay Baucom, 50, of Shelbyville, IN, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020, at her residence.  She was born June 22, 1969, in Connersville, IN, to Robert and Joyce (White) Doolin.

She married Marvin Baucom on February 12, 2017, and he survives.

Also surviving are her son, Joshua Adams of Connersville; step-son, Allen Blake Baucom of Oklahoma; brothers, Robert (Jennifer) Doolin of Fairland, and Chris Tate of Shelbyville; sisters, Connie Doolin of Indianapolis, Tina (Brian) Bergan of Shelbyville, and Denise (James) Mauller of Shelbyville; her mothers, Barbara Doolin and Joyce Doolin; her mother-in-law, Linda Gilbert of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her daughter, Samantha Kay Doolin.

Darlene was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, camping, and fishing. She loved having her family around.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Brandon Sutton officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Garden.
