Danny Scott Higgins

Danny Scott Higgins, 41, of Morristown, died July 2, 2010, in Lafayette. He was born Nov. 25, 1968, in Shelbyville to Edward E. and Sheryl (Gannon) Higgins, who survive. Survivors include sons, Dustin Scott (Ashley) Higgins and Jacob Levi Higgins, both of Shelbyville, and Garrett James Higgins, Indianapolis; sisters, Dana Michelle (Walter Lee) Boat, Morresville, and Bridgette Victoria Higgins, Indianapolis; step-brother Gerald Arthur, Fortville; grandson, Wayde Scott Higgins, Shelbyville; grandmothers, Marjorie Fall and Wanda Jean Gannon, both of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Bill Gannon and Stacey Fall. He was a heavy equpiment operator for I.U.O.E. Local 103 for 20 years. He was a member of the Shelbyville Fraternal Order of Eagles and a former member of Fountaintown Volunteer Fire Department. He attended Morristown High School. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Sevice & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen Bohall officiating. Burial will follow at Bennett Cemetery, Shelbyville.
