Dalles Shephard, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. He was born March 3, 1948, in Wayne County, Ky., to the late Dalles S. and Cindy (Bernard) Shephard. Dalles married Wanda Johnson on Oct. 9, 1967, and she survives. Other survivors include daughters, Regina (husband, Michael) Evans, Tammy Phares and son, Jeff Shephard, all of Shelbyville; sisters, Carolyn Jasper of Franklin, Lisa Flynn of New Castle and  Connie Anders, both of Shelbyville; brother, Ronnie Shephard of Franklin; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Dalles was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff Shephard. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176. Services will follow visitation at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Evans officiating. Burial will follow services at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dalles Shephard Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
