Dallas Lee Gibson, 66, passed away, Friday, May 10, 2019 at Roudebush VA Medical Center.

He was born February 17, 1953, in Shelbyville to Densil E. and Nora (Holt) Gibson.

Mr. Gibson was a widower.   He is survived by his daughter, Christi M. Hamner; son Mike Nolley of Shelbyville; sister, Mary (Richard) Smith of Florida; sister, Emma (David) Huett of Indianapolis; and grandson, Jacob Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and grandson, Kristopher Gibson.

Mr. Gibson was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a member of the American Legion.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and just being outdoors.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
