Craig Cole

Craig William Cole, 45, of Arlington, Texas, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was born March, 14, 1968, to Charles Cole and Linda (Stover) Cole in Shelbyville. Survivors include wife, Julie (Powell) Cole of Arlington; mother, Linda Cole; daughter, Ivory Thornburg; son, Slade Thornburg; and brother, Charles Cole II, of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Cole attended Shelbyville High School and Ivy Tech Community College. He was a member of Connect Church in Arlington, Texas. He enjoyed Indy Car racing and watching the Texas Rangers baseball team. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Edwin Mohr officiating.
