Cova Ann Rogers

Cova Ann Rogers, 97, of Flat Rock, IN, passed away July 31, 2018 at Heritage House.

She was born April 23, 1921, in Ohio County, KY.  She was the daughter of Ernest and Lola Kate (Hoover) Bartlett.

She married Lawrence (Larry) Rogers on February 17, 1946.  He preceded her in death on February 16, 1984.  They moved to Indiana in 1954.

Mrs. Rogers worked at Amos Plastics, Edinburgh, IN for 17 years.  Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Lewis Creek Wesleyan Church for 55 years.

Survivors include 3 sons, Gary Rogers, New Whiteland, IN, Randall Rogers, Flat Rock, IN, and Jeffrey (Robin) Rogers, Shelbyville, IN, sisters, Ernestine Evans, and Lola Goodman, brother, Roy Bartlett, grandchildren, Jill, Wendy, Brock, Bryan, Jeffrey II, Ashley, Tina and Brittney, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Phillip Rogers, 8 sisters, 5 brothers,            step-mother, Mabel Davis Bartlett.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Jeffrey Brian Rogers II officiating assisted by Reverend Donald Craft, Eric Horton and Reverend David Gates.

Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
