Constance Lynne Shaw-Barr

Constance Lynne "Connie" Shaw-Barr, 49, of Shelbyville, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010. Born Jan. 20, 1961, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Robert Wyman Shaw and Glenda K. (Cole) Chancy. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Bert Chancy, of Shelbyville; father of Indianapolis; son, Landon Matthew Jefferies of Clarksville; brother, Anthony "Tony" (wife, Joni Kay) Shaw of Shelbyville; nephew, Tristen Shaw; and aunts, Carol (husband, Larry) Shaw, Vickie (husband, Fred) Holder and Cathy (husband, Paul) Anderson, all of Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her Aunt, Pam Bohman. Ms. Shaw-Barr had been employed as a factory worker. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1979. Her hobbies included all arts and crafts and word search puzzles. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Robert Prather officiating.
