Connie Faye (Choate) Williams

Connie Faye Williams, 65, of Fairland died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Dec. 3, 1946, in Albany, Ky., she was the daughter of Roy and Margie (McGinnis) Choate. She married James Paul Williams on April 8, 1967, and he survives. Other survivors include sons, Derrick (Teresa) Williams and Eric Paul Williams, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Blake Austin Williams and Cierra Faye Williams; sisters, Bonnie L. (Doug) Stuart of Henderson, Nev.; Barbara E. (Chris) Hill of Jacksonville, Ala., Annette L. (Darryl) Langford of Winchester, Tenn., Marie A. Gabbard of Lewisville and Mary J. (James) Brown, Nila J. (Carl) Craig and Dena L. (Don) Coomer, all of Albany, Ky.; and brothers, Charles L. (Brenda) Choate of Dublin, Ind., and John P. Choate of Bennettsville, S.C. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ross H. Choate and Forrest W. Choate; half brother, Floyd McGinnis; and brother-in-law, Bill Gabbard.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker. Connie enjoyed gardening and sewing and taking family vacations with her grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24th,  at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. A celebration of life service will follow at 1 p.m., at the funeral home with the Rev. Robb Barlow officiating. Inurnment will be at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
