Cody R. Saylor

Cody R. Saylor, 20, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at his home. Born March 12, 1989, in Tennessee, he was the son of Larry and Brenda (Gregory) Saylor. Survivors include his parents in Tennessee; his grandmothers, Jean Clark of Oxford Ohio, and Kathryn Gregory of Tennessee, and his foster parent, Todd Crisman of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by a brother, DeWayne Saylor. Mr. Saylor was attending MedTech College, studying for his nursing degree. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerri Cadwallader officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cody Saylor Memorial Fund in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S.
