Cindy Darby

Cindy L. Darby, 58 of Fairland, IN passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2017, at her residence

Born June 21, 1959 in Shelbyville, IN,, she was the daughter of Norman Darby and Maxine Darby.

Cindy is survived by her brothers, Rick Darby, Anchorage, AK,  and Jamie Thurston, Indianapolis, IN, sisters,  Debra Johnson, Fairland, IN, and Norma Bottom, Cable, OH, and longtime companion, Michael Dean.

Mrs. Darby was preceded in death by her father, mother and the father that raised her, Richard Thurston, son, Shaun Darby, and brother, Kim Darby,

She was an avid cat lover and treated them like her own children.  Mrs. Darby was very compassionate with her neighbors and friends always giving them a helping hand.

Mrs. Darby was a U.S. Army veteran.  She worked at Knauf for 15 years until her retirement.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 08, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Private family graveside services will be at Fairland Cemetery, Fairland IN.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Darby.
