Charles W. Brinson

Charles Wesley Brinson, 84, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Hillside Villa in Madisonville, Ky. He was born May 16, 1929, to Christopher Columbus Brinson and Hessie (Tomlinson) Brinson in Somerset, Ky. Survivors include three daughters, Connie (husband, Danny) Reaves, Sheila (husband, Phillip) Gaskins and Diane (husband, Delbert) Frey; sons, Chuck (wife, Christine) Brinson and Chris (wife, Lisa) Brinson; and brother, Hobert Brinson. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Mr. Brinson was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Greensburg. He retired from KT Corp. He also did mechanic work as a favorite pastime. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery. Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks and Sheila J.
