Cassie Clark

Cassie Lynn Clark, 37, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Our Hospice of Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

She was born March 15, 1977 in Indianapolis, IN to Perry Wesley Sturges and Vickie Jean Dawson. Survivors include her daughter, Katie Hughes of Shelbyville; grandson, Eli Dake of Shelbyville; sister, Charlene Clark; stepmother, Susan Sturges; half brother, Kyle Sturges; three stepbrothers, Tommy Terry, Jack Hall and Shannon Hall; stepsisters, Dawnyel Hall and Shawn Hall; two stepdaughters, Erika Hughes and Nicole Hughes; nieces, Jasmine and Kiara Clark; and nephews, Caleb Anderson, and Braydon and James Clark.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Paul Sturges.

Cassie was a loving caregiver and custodial parent to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed camping.

Cassie was surrounded by family and special friends until the end. She received loving care from Our Hospice of South Central Indiana and Kathy Mitchell, Genie Thompson and Michelle Lewis.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Andy Lee officiating.

Memorial contributions honoring Cassie's life may be given to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses.

Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Ms. Clark.
