Carroll James Walter Duncan, 51, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Franciscan Health.

He was born July 28, 1970 in Tillamook, OR to Clarence O.L. Duncan and Carolyn Sue (Dyer) Duncan.  James married Connie L. (Sleeth) Duncan on November 16, 2003.

James is survived by his wife, Connie, his son, Andrew James Duncan, sisters; Clarissa (Mark) Mead, Alicia Kritzell, Melissa (Larry) Kritzell, his mother-in-law, Carol Sleeth, 8 nephews and 6 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence O.L. Duncan, his brother, Clarence Edward Duncan, and his father-in-law, Donald Sleeth.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Friday, December 31, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Erik Frecking officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
