Carolyn Strader

Carolyn Strader, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at her residence.

She was born September 14, 1945 in Indianapolis to Wesley J. Russell and Roberta (Craig) Russell.

She married Thomas H. Strader on December 4, 1971 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2020.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Steven (wife, Violet) Williams, her daughter, Holly (husband, Daniel) Gregg; several beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Virginia (husband, Hobart) Dawson and Diane Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Daniel Williams; and sister, Marie Kelsch.

Carolyn retired from Mickey's T-Mart after several years of service.

She enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping.  Her greatest pleasure was being silly with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend George Seats and Pastor Ed Mohr officiating.

Inurnment will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory.
