Carol Sue Moore

Carol S. Moore, 58, of Fairland died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at her home. Born Feb. 4, 1952, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Clay A. and Mary (Andrews) Davidson. She married Michael F. Moore, and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Kristen Shonk of Indianapolis; a son, Jerry W. Shonk of Shelbyville; brothers, Michael Andrews of Indianapolis and Ricky Davidson of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Aubrey Ackerman, Memphis Shonk and Owen Shonk. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Moore had been employed as a factory worker in manufacturing at Knauf Insulation for 35 years. She loved traveling to Nashville, Tenn., and to Graceland in Memphis, Tenn. Her grandchildren were very special to her; they were her life. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
