Brittany Anne Ewald, 25, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Feb. 19, 1987, to Dave Ewald and Rita (Schoenleder) Ewald in Brooklyn, NY. Brittany loved music. She was passionate about writing in her journals and was an accomplished photographer. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Friday, with Father Aaron Pfaff officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brittany Ewald Memorial Fund to help with her funeral expenses.
