Bridgett Louise Shelton, 38, of Fountaintown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 28, 1978, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Steven L. Shelton and Shirley (Poeker) Shelton.

Bridgett is survived by her sisters: Angela Wright, and husband, Scott, of Martinsville; and Lisa J, Shelton, of Indianapolis; fiancé, Gregg Hedrick, and his children; two nephews and five nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She worked as a banker at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino.

She was a true animal lover, always enjoying the outdoors. She was also a talented artist.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny'lee Sanders officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Murphy-Parks Funeral Service to assist her family with the funeral expenses.
