Brenda Coffey

Brenda M. Coffey, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her residence.

She was born March 31, 1950 in Shelbyville to Richard Wilcox and Mary (Spear) McCorkle.

Brenda married Ronnie "Yogi" Coffey on September 24, 1967 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2004.

Brenda is survived by her daughter Diana Coffey of Shelbyville, brothers, Larry (Shannon) Wilcox of Fairland; sister, Stephanie (Matthew) Metz of PA.; brother, Stephen Schaf of Denver; sister, Jennifer McClure of Geneva; sister, Casey Dietz of Lawrenceburg; brother, Bobby (Mel) McCorkle of Lawrenceburg; brother-in-law, Larry Coffey; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Rick Wilcox and her sister, Linda Coffey.

Brenda was a caregiver.  She enjoyed playing cards.  Her most precious time was spent with family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Edwin Mohr officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery

Brenda's motto was: "Live, Love and Laugh"
