Bill Baker

Bill Baker, 66, of Shelbyville, IN passed away on April 14, 2017 at his residence.

He was born May 25, 1950 in Shelbyville, IN.

He was the son of Harold Baker, Sr. and Thelma (Cherry) Baker.  Bill married Patricia Baker and she preceded him in death in 1981.   He was preceded in death by his mother and father; sister, Penny, and brother, Harold.

Bill retired from Freudenberg NOK where he was a dedicated employee.

He was a member of the Indian Creek Christian Church.  His passion in life was studying the Holy Bible and participating in Bible Bowls around the United States.

Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from  5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be in Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN. He will be buried beside his wife, Patricia.

Memorials may be made to the National Bible Bowl, 110 Boggs Ln., Suite 330, Cincinnati, OH  45264.
