Beverly Joan Kauffman Eikman

Beverly Joan Kauffman Eikman, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at AMG Specialty Hospital, Greenfield.

She was born October 10, 1936 to Raymond "Doc" Cordrey and Opal (Hobbs) Cordrey.

She married Beach Kauffman on November 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1993.      She later married Maynard Eikman and he preceded her in death in 2014.

Bev is survived by her son, Brent (Sheri) Kauffman; her grandchildren, Brooke, Brandi, Benji, Bryon, Blade, Abigail, and Myrical; 9 great-grandchildren, her step-daughter, Angela Eikman, and her step-son, Joe Eikman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her sons, Bruce Kauffman and Barry Kauffman; her brothers, Eugene Cordrey and Herman Cordrey; her sisters, Floma Haas, Lucille Haas, Louise Burton, Sue Quarzzo, and step-son, Sam Eikman.

Bev was a member of First Baptist Church, Shelbyville, for over 60 years.  She retired from RCA.  She also worked at and retired from Shelbyville High School

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the funeral home with Reverend Randy Worlan officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
