Betty L. King

Betty L. King, 76, of Tulsa, Okla., former Shelby County resident, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Born Sept. 27, 1931, in Boggstown, she was the daughter of John A. and Margaret Kirkham. Survivors include sons, Steven T. (wife, Shirley) King of Braggs, Okla., and Greg A. (wife, Becky) King of Tulsa; sisters, Edith Yonker and Patricia Gile; brother, William Kirkham; grandchildren, Jennifer King, Brian King and Jason King; and great-grandchildren, Braydon, Bailey, Gavin, Liberty and Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Boggstown Cemetery, in Boggstown, with burial following.
