Barry V. Geiling

Barry V. Geiling, 63, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at Willows of Shelbyville.

He was born July 14, 1962, in Shelbyville, IN to Dale Geiling and Rosie (Wickliff) Geiling.

Barry graduated from Shelbyville High School with the Class of 1978.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  He was a fork truck driver for PK U.S.A. and retired in 2025. Barry enjoyed the outdoors and spending time fishing.  He also enjoyed playing softball and working on vehicles.  His favorite things to watch were wrestling and Godzilla movies.  Barry cherished the times spent with his wife and family.

He married Marcia (Merrick) Geiling on December 20, 2001, and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2025.

He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Camposano and Amber Zetina; his sons, Jonathan Merrick, Charles Merrick, Brandon Jacobs and Brandon Lewis; his grandchildren, Alex, Selena, Enrique, Nash, Dahlia, Liam and Eli; his brother, Rick Wickliff; his sisters, Teresa Creech, Kathy Duvelius and Tina Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Rosie; his wife, Marcia; his brothers, Keith, Christopher and Everett Wayne; his son, K.C. and sister, Shirley.

A Gathering of Friends will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Seth Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
