Barbara J Squires

Barbara J. Squires, 71, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her residence.

She was born July 17, 1947 in Indianapolis to Clarence and Fern (Stonecipher) Clark.  She married Steve Squires Sr on August 21, 1970 and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2015.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Carla (husband, Andy) Baber, Tina (husband, Bryan) Sergent, and Beverly (husband, Mike) Thompson all of Indianapolis; sons, Steve (wife, Kyle) Squires Jr. of Indianapolis, and Paul (wife, Amber) Squires of Waldron; 13 grandchildren, and 16 ¾ great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clyde Clark.

She retired as a machinist from Peerless Pump after 29 years of service.

Barbara enjoyed fishing, gardening and being with her family.  She loved her grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8pm, Monday, August 20, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Bryan Trotter officiating.

Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens in Indianapolis.
