Anne R Juarez

Anne R. Juarez, 84, of Waldron, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Major Hospital. She was born June 20, 1928, to Philip Gephart and Anna (Williams) Gephart in Shelbyville. Survivors include four children, Eric (wife, Jennifer) Juarez of Fishers, Philip (wife, Suzet) Juarez of Guatemala, Cecelia (husband, Miguel) Ortiz of Shelbyville and Anna Maria Luna of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Ms. Juarez received her education from Franklin College and a master's degree from Indiana University. She taught junior high school language arts for 25 years. She was a member of West Street United Methodist Church and the Indiana State Teachers Association. She was a volunteer for the Shelby County Public Library, Grover Museum and Major Hospital. Private family graveside services will be at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens, 625 E. Progress Parkway in Shelbyville, with inurnment at Olive Branch Columbarium. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
