Amy Diann Pate, 55, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Community East Hospital.

She was born July 17, 1970, in Shelbyville, IN to Alex Spurlock and Judith (Miller) Spurlock.

She was a member of Faith Community Church of God in Manilla, IN.   Amy became an Ordained Minister and was always helping those in need.  She loved her family time, going to the beach and knitting in her spare time.

She is survived by her mother; her daughters, Makayla (husband, Dylan) Eldridge, Michelle Pate, Chelsea Burnine and Alisha Zerr; her son, Codie (wife, Megan) Pate; 10 grandchildren; her brothers, Jim Spurlock, Joseph Spurlock and Richard Spurlock.

She was preceded in death by her father and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Amy's family.
