Alyssa Leann Teghtmeyer, 31, of Flat Rock, passed away, Monday, February 7, 2022 at her residence.

She was born October 20, 1990 in Lee's Summit, Missouri to Jay and Brenda (Isbell) Kirk.

She married Jordan C. Teghtmeyer on June 12, 2015, and he survives.

Alyssa is survived by her parents, her daughter, Adelaide Teghtmeyer, her brothers, Grant Kirk (Lauren); Nathan Kirk, Brett Kirk (Emma); her sister, Breanna Kirk, her brother, Zach Kirk, Grandma and Grandpa Isbell, aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, several in-laws, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Kirk.

Alyssa was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church.  She was a 2009 graduate of Grain Valley High School in Missouri.  She received a degree in Interior Design from Park University in 2016.  Alyssa excelled in Interior Design and had a very creative mind.

Alyssa loved to serve and be active in the youth groups with her husband. She was very active in all aspects of the church.  She loved to serve the Lord no matter which church she was involved with at the time.

Alyssa's most cherished times were spent with her family especially the times she was able to be with Addie.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at Flat Rock Christian Church, 2854 W Pope St., Flat Rock, IN.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Brian Ebersold officiating.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Alyssa's family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Adelaide Teghtmeyer Scholorship Fund in care of Flat Rock Christian Church.
