Alice Rose Clouse

Alice Rose Clouse, 66, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at her home. Born July 15, 1943, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Arthur Orange and Lola Marie (Theobald) Clouse. She married Jack Clouse on Jan. 17, 1960, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2008. Survivors include her sons, Robby Clouse, Daren Clouse, Richard Clouse, Eddie Clouse and Shannon Clouse, all of Shelbyville, and Ronnie Clouse of Arlington; daughters, Christine Adams of Shelbyville and Jennifer Hampton of Kentucky; 25 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Clouse had been employed as a cook. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Clouse loved bingo and crocheting. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Manilla Cemetery.
