Aldina R Browning

Aldina R. Browning, 81, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Center, Indianapolis. Born November 14, 1927 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (Pettyjohn) Price. Survivors include her sons; Donald (wife, Ursula) Browning, Greensburg, and Kenneth (wife, Karen) Browning, Shelbyville; daughters; Jo (husband, John) Overly, Donna (husband, Dennis) Kastle, and Betty (husband, Ted) Crouch, all of Shelbyville; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; special friend, Sandy Carew and daughter-in-law, Soon I Browning. Se married Donald Eugene Browning on Jan. 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents,sons,Hershel Browning and Larry Browning; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mrs. Browning worked for Excel Corp. for 20 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 13, 4-8 pm.at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service. Funeral service Wednesday, Jan. 14, 10:00 am at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
