Albert Ernie Huffman

Albert "Ernie" Huffman, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

Albert was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Noblesville, the son of Alfred Ernest Huffman and Mabel L. (Huffman) Hamilton. He was married to Amelia "Amy" (Huyck) Huffman, and she survives.

He is survived by two sons: Andrew J. Huffman and wife, Brandy, of Shelbyville; and  Allen R.

Huffman of Martinsville; two granddaughters, Shelby Huffman and Carmen Huffman; three brothers: Ricky Huffman and wife, Teresa, of Cicero; Larry Joe Huffman and wife, Cindy; and Shannon Huffman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and sister, Drelinda Moore and husband, Jeff, of Noblesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Terry Lynn Huffman.

Albert was a construction worker and worked for Don Hinds Ford in Fishers for many years. He also worked for IDI in Noblesville, and retired in 2013. He was also a volunteer firefighter at the Arcadia Fire Department for 5 years.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Crossroad Community Church 475 Progress Parkway, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.
