Adalina Sue Perez, 17, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, April 20, 2026.
She was born March 17, 2009, the daughter of Robbie L. Perez and Tiffany Frodge.
Addy was a sophomore at Shelbyville High School with dreams of pursuing a career in nursing so she could help save lives. She enjoyed her “Teen Nights” at the First Presbyterian Church and also visited Beacon Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Never one to be glued to the TV or electronic devices, she had a love for being outdoors and staying active. Addy was an avid animal lover and enjoyed cheerleading in various competitions for a few years. Her love for music and dancing was therapeutic to her through the years. She was starting to find her way in life and began to value the more precious things , such as her family and loved ones. Spending time with them and making memories became her top priority.
Addy is survived by her mother and father, sister, Abigail Anderson (Javon Wilson); brother, Aiden Burton; maternal grandmother, Lora Frodge; maternal grandfather, Kenny (wife, Andrea) Hignite; aunt, Stacy (husband, Ricky) Dobson; uncles, Daniel Frodge and Aaron Frodge; aunts, Kelsey Smith and Erika Klepper; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Marilyn Sue Greenlee; maternal grandfather, James Lykens; and her cousin, Jazzilyn Jenkins.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
