A. Ruth Tindall

A. Ruth Tindall, 70, of Shelbyville died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at her home. Born June 29, 1937, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Maurice W. and Bertha (Hipshur) McNeely. She married Charles R. Tindall on Oct. 8, 1957, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1995. Survivors include her mother of Shelbyville; sons, Richard Tindall and Charles Tindall, both of Shelbyville; daughters, April Pierce of Greenwood , Lois Anderson and Lisa Tindall, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Lois Carter and Louise Stephens, both of Shelbyville; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Tindall was self -employed cleaning offices and houses. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stephen Bohall officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Norristown.
