Albert F. Roberts, 44, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
He was the son of Albert F. and Rachel E. (Dixon) Roberts. He married Rose Hankins on Feb. 15, 1991, and she survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Donna Smith of Shelbyville and Tiffany Roberts, (fiance, TJ Barrow) of Morristown; son, Curtis (wife, Jamie) Roberts of Morristown; twin brother, Alan (wife, Tracy) Roberts of Rushville and brother Mike Roberts of Shelbyville; sister, Angie (husband, Jimmy) McClellan of Rushville; three nieces; three nephews; and grandchildren Braylen, Maddalynn and Hunter.
Albert was employed with Creative Renovations for several years before being employed with Ryobi Die casting for the past three years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and most of all he enjoyed being home spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. He was expecting his fourth grandchild on Oct. 26, 2012, and her name will be Allison.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., in Shelbyville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville, with Pastor Perry Fauts officiating. Burial will follow at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Association of Shelby County Benefits for Albert Roberts, P.O. Box 844, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Rose, Donna, Curt, Tiff and families.....We are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed being around Jr.. Know that we are just a phone call or a short drive away....and are ALWAYS here for you ANYtime! We will be praying for you all that God will give you the peace and strength to face the coming days, weeks and months. Love you all SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!

Rose and family I am so sorry for your loss. I was so shocked when I saw this in the paper. I could not believe it!!!!! Jr. was a good person and loved his family dearly. He was a hard worker and an asset to anyone he worked for!!!! Jr always talked about his family and did everything possible to provide for them. So sad to lose someone as nice as Jr. was.
